Anushka Sharma will be back to shooting after delivering her child, says being on set brings her joy

In August, actress Anushka Sharma broke the Internet by announcing that she is pregnant with her first child by posting a picture flaunting of her baby bump. The 'Sui Dhaaga' actress is now 7 months pregnant but is not taking a break from work.
The actress has been shooting for brands back-to-back, all week, and has been spotted by the paparazzi, donning colourful dresses and outfits.
In an interview with the Times of India, Anushka opened up about her decision to continue acting during the coronavirus pandemic. “I had to be sure that the sets are going to be a safe place to shoot because I would be shooting during the pandemic. Though I was looking forward to shooting again, I was also careful that all the precautions were being taken. I’m thankful to everyone for following all the necessary steps for me to shoot. The virus is here to stay and we have to embrace the new normal and deal with coronavirus with the strictest precautions, which is what I have done,” she said.
Talking about her recent experience on the set, she says, “Being on the set brings me a lot of joy and I’m going to be shooting continuously for the next few days. It’s been great being on the set, meeting my entire team and soaking in the madness of a shoot. This year has been tough for our industry, but I’m happy to see it restart with the same amount of passion and energy.”
Anushka's team is taking all the precautions to protect the actress from Covid-19. This included making sure all the safety precautions were taken and protocols were followed. Her entire staff and every crew member underwent Covid-19 tests at regular intervals during the shoot.
Anushka also plans to resume work just four months after delivering her baby. “I will be back to my shoots after I deliver my child, and will establish a system at home that ensures I can balance time between my child, home and professional life. I intend to keep working for as long as I live because acting truly makes me happy,” she added.
Looking at the stringent measures, Anushka had no qualms about shooting, as she understands that an actor she has to face the camera without a mask, and hence is at risk.
