Anushka Sharma lands in London with hubby Virat Kohli ahead of June 7 WTC final, may head to Cannes later for red carpet debut

Seems like Anushka Sharma is in no mood to spill the beans. The actress, who is supposed to make her big Cannes debut this year, hasn't yet arrived in France, though the 76th Cannes Film Festival concludes on May 27.

Adding fuel to this fire of mystery, Sharma was spotted at Mumbai airport with her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli on Wednesday as the couple left the city and landed in London.

This has made fans wonder if the 'Sultan' star will be arriving at Cannes before the festival wraps up. It looks like the actress has joined her husband Kohli in London for the WTC Final 2023 and will be heading to Cannes later, which is around 3 hours away.


The actress, dressed in chequered coat and blue denim, also chit-chatted with people before heading isnide the Mumbai airport and flying off to London.

Sharma later also shared a selfie from inside the airport.

The 35-year-old even shared a picture from her place of stay on Instagram once she landed in the country. "London, London, London," Sharma captioned the image.

As per reports, the Bollywood diva will head to Cannes 2023 to honour women in cinema and will be joined by Hollywood superstar Kate Winslet.

Recently, Sharma and Kohli met France Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenin at French Embassy, New Delhi.

Emmanuel Lenin took to his Twitter handle on Thursday to share the picture with the couple. Ambassador captioned, "A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma! I wished Virat & #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments, and discussed Anushka's trip to #CannesFilmFestival."

On the work front, the 'Rab ne bana di jodi' actress will be seen in her brother Karnesh Sharma's produced film 'Chakda Xpress'. Apart from this sports drama, the 'NH10' star also has two more big Bollywood projects confirmed to release soon.
