Anupam Kher finds inner peace in Sweden while working on his 556th film. ‘Nature has a way of putting everything into perspective’

Anupam Kher often leaves us thinking and contemplating our lives with his interesting social media entries. The 71-year-old is unabashed in sharing his thoughts on Instagram, sometimes delighting fans with new adventures and at other times with his inspiring messages. This time was no exception. For the unversed, Kher, who was last seen in Tanvi: The Great, is working on his 556th project, Out of Fashion, and has been spending peaceful days in Sweden for the shoot. Sweden’s picturesque capital, Stockholm, has even taught Kher an important life lesson.

Anupam Kher admires Stockholm’s picturesque landscape

On Sunday, October 25, Anupam Kher posted a video on Instagram, capturing the fall season in Stockholm. Withered leaves in different shades of yellow, orange and red were seen scattered on the ground,m covering the lawns and streets. Safe to say, the view looked straight out of a fairy tale.

In the distance, there were some men riding horses, offering a distinct Victorian vibe. Adding to the beauty were the crystal-clear lake and rustic stone houses. Sharing the clip, Anupam Kher turned a bit poetic as he wrote, ‘Golden leaves underfoot, trees standing tall, and a calm lake holding the quiet of the moment.’

The film veteran was also consumed by a deep realisation. He highlighted how nature can make you feel ‘wonderfully small’ and put things into perspective. Kher admitted that the quiet charm and comforting stillness of nature helped him to be at peace with silence and enjoy his own company.
