‘Animal’ success party: Ranbir Kapoor stuns in black, Alia Bhatt steals the show in blue

‘Animal’ emerged as one of the biggest grossers of 2023, despite courting controversy for its violent content and unbridled misogyny.

The cast threw a success party on Saturday to celebrate its phenomenal box-office run.

The lavish success party was held at a posh hotel in Juhu, Mumbai.


Ranbir Kapoor, the leading man of ‘Animal’, arrived at the event with his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, mother Neetu Singh, and father-in-law, director Mahesh Bhatt.

In a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Bhatt and Kapoor could be seen posing separately as well as together. In another clip, Kapoor is seen greeting his leading lady Rashmika Mandana enthusiastically and recreating her signature Korean hand pose.

While Kapoor looked elegant in a black velvet blazer, black shirt, and pants, Bhatt looked nothing short of ravishing in a deep blue halter dress.

Aside from Kapoor, the rest of the ‘Animal’ team such as Bobby Deol (who essayed the role of the antagonist Abrar Haque), Saurabh Sachdeva, Anil Kapoor, Prem Chopra, the two leading ladies - Mandana and Tripti Dimri, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his brother Pranay (who was also one of the writers of ‘Animal’) were also present at the event.

Both Dimri and Mandana twinned in black bodycon dresses. Deol opted for a white vest, and black pants, while Anil Kapoor, like his on-screen son, decided to go all black!

Aside from the ‘Animal’ team, other celebs such as Farah Khan (director of ‘Main Hoon Na’), Tamannaah Bhatia, Rasha Thadani (daughter of Raveena Tandon), also added the glam factor at the event.

About ‘Animal'

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga (director of ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘Animal’ is a gory family drama that revolves around the fanatical love of a young man named Rannvijay towards his emotionally distant father.

Despite being panned by critics, ‘Animal’ became a bonafide box-office phenomenon, earning more than Rs 655 crore in India and about Rs 241 crore overseas.

The film will have a sequel ‘Animal Park’ which will feature Kapoor in a double role.
