Angelina Jolie's Maleficent Christian Louboutin shoes

The shoes that caught fashionistas' attention on the red carpet of the Maleficent premieres this year are about to hit the streets.

Created by Christian Louboutin in collaboration with Angelina Jolie for her recent press tour, the limited edition Malangeli shoes are now available for pre-order at the brand's five flagship stores in Paris, Hong Kong, London, New York and West Hollywood.

A Louboutin spokesperson describes the limited-edition shoe design as "dangerous and altogether seductive" with "an illusion of magic".

Available in black and red, the shoes have a twisted heel that calls to mind a curl of smoke for an evil touch. Shoe addicts will have to shell out $1,400 (Rs 86,000) a pair, with delivery starting on October 20.
