Mumbai is abuzz with excitement as international pop sensation Justin Bieber has arrived in the city to perform at one of the most anticipated weddings of the year. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot, and their wedding festivities promise to be nothing short of spectacular. With global stars and lavish celebrations, the Ambani family is once again setting a new standard for grandeur.

Justin Bieber's Arrival In Mumbai

The Canadian singer touched down in Mumbai on Thursday, ahead of his scheduled performance on Friday at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Social media was flooded with pictures and videos of Bieber’s arrival, creating a buzz among fans and guests alike.

According to India Today, discussions are ongoing with other renowned artists like Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey to perform at the wedding festivities. The sangeet ceremony will see Bieber headlining, and reports from Times Now confirm that the Ambani family is paying him a staggering $10 million (approximately Rs 83 crore) for his performance.

This isn't the first time the Ambanis have brought in international stars for their events. Rihanna performed at Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, charging between Rs 66-74 crore. The June cruise party featured performances by The Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli.

Ambani Wedding Preparations

The Ambani family has been preparing extensively for the wedding. Recently, a Mameru ceremony, a traditional Gujarati wedding event, took place, attended by the entire Ambani family, including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Akash and Shloka Ambani, Anant and Radhika, and Isha Ambani with her husband Anand Piramal. The Ambani residence was adorned with vibrant red, pink, and orange blossoms, and golden lights enhanced the festive ambiance. Digital displays featured caricatures of Anant and Radhika with warm wishes.

In addition to the grand celebrations, the Ambanis have shown a commitment to community engagement. Anant, Radhika, Mukesh, and Nita Ambani organized a mass wedding for 52 underprivileged couples at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar. Nita Ambani also invited the owner of Kashi Chaat Bhandaar from Varanasi to set up a chaat stall at the wedding, following her visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Ambani Wedding Schedule

The wedding festivities span three days, starting with the 'Shubh Vivah' on July 12, followed by the 'Mangal Utsav' or wedding reception on July 14. The celebrations are set to include performances from both international and Indian artists, making it a truly star-studded affair.

This marks Justin Bieber's second visit to India, his first being in 2017 for his Purpose World Tour. Despite plans for a packed itinerary including a grand party and a visit to the Taj Mahal, Bieber left the city quickly after his concert. His return has reignited excitement among his Indian fans, who are eager to see him perform once again.
