Anand Mahindra upgrades Maharashtra blacksmith's hand-made car with Bolero, says his creation will be displayed at M&M's research facility
The vehicle built from scraps will be a part of M&M's collection of cars.

Last month, the billionaire shared a 45-second-long video on his timeline of a Maharashtra blacksmith who had created his own car with pieces of scrap from an auto, a motorcycle and a Jeep.
While the Mahindra Group Chairman expressed worry about the hand-made car not meeting any of regulations, he said he was amazed to see the creativity of Indians with their ‘more with less’ capabilities.

— anand mahindra (@anandmahindra) 1640097291000Many fans requested Mahindra to offer Dattatraya Lohar a vehicle to make his life easier. The very next day, he offered the blacksmith a Bolero in exchange for his hand-made creation.
The business tycoon further promised to display Lohar's creation at Mahindra Research Valley in Tamil Nadu that will inspire people in the future. "‘Resourcefulness’ means doing more with less resources," he wrote.
In nearly a month's time, the 66-year-old kept his promise. On Tuesday, Mahindra shared with his Twitter family that Lohar had accepted the offer to exchange his vehicle for a new Bolero.
