Anand Mahindra tweets video of toddler singing National Anthem, Kiran Shaw calls him 'a very cute patriot'

A day before Independence Day the patriotic spirit is high across the country, with celebrations spilling on to social media.

Mahindra boss Anand Mahindra also took to Twitter to share a video that he sees every year to get his "josh up before Independence Day."

The adorable video shows a toddler concentrating hard and singing the national anthem.


The 65-year-old business tycoon said that he first saw the video a year or more ago, and has saved it to watch before every Independence Day.

"It moves me as much as the best rendition of our anthem by the most accomplished musicians. His innocence & concentration gets me every time," he added.


His tweet also caught Biocon Executive Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw's eye, who described the young boy in the video as "a very cute patriot!"


Both Mahindra and Shaw are avid Twitter users and share regular updates with their 8 million and 1.5 million followers, respectively.
