The businessman praised Mahi for joining a meeting two days before the IPL final.

Mahindra applauded Dhoni for taking time out to attend the meeting despite being busy with the IPL final. In a tweet post on Saturday, the businessman praised Mahi for joining the video call meeting for a subcommittee of the National Cadet Corps review panel two days before the IPL final. "He was well prepared & made seminal, convincing points during the meeting," Mahindra recalled, adding that when he thanked the cricketer for taking time out despite the IPL, the 40-year-old made light of the situation.
This instance was a leadership lesson for Mahindra, who shared it with his over 8.5 million followers on Twitter. "Balance," the business tycoon added. Mahindra said that one can achieve focus even if not being completely obsessed with one goal.
"Life is rich with opportunities to make an impact. You can achieve focus even if not obsessed with just one goal. Paradoxical, but true. Work on a few goals concurrently. In each task, you’ll be more clear-headed, cool & composed," the billionaire tweeted.
