In the age of social media, slip-ups hardly go unnoticed. With all kinds of experts making their presence felt online, it is unlikely that one’s post goes unnoticed. Appreciation or criticism, they all come in equal measure.

Anand Mahindra, who is known for his illustrious tweets mostly based on life events offering inspiration, became the latest to be noticed by Twitter for his not-so-apparent gaffe.

The billionaire businessman shared his Monday motivation on Twitter, something which his millions of fans have grown accustomed to lately. However, this time his motivational tweet got noticed something that was far from motivation.

“Dream big….. #mondaymotivation.” tweeted the Mahindra Group Chairman along with a picture of a tea stall named ‘Oberoi Hotel’.
On the surface, the intent of the messaging is to spread optimism and a source of inspiration for many. However, netizens were quick to point out that the image shared by the industrialist was a poorly photoshopped picture.

The comments section saw several users pointing out the visibly glaring words on the image.

“Looks pretty photoshopped,” said one user, while another tweeted, “Dream Bada nahi hai , editor bade wala hai yaha (Not the dream, but the editor is even bigger).” “Upon looking closely it seems morphed!” chimed in another user.

In all the tweets calling out the photoshopped image, users even acknowledged Mahindra’s penchant for spotting unique images and events. “ I wonder how you can come up with humorous pics every week…” said a user.

While the image lead to a barrage of reactions, the roots of it can be traced back to a blog dedicated to a blog post enumerating the most favourite food stalls in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

According to the blog The Udaipur Store, the original stall is named Bhairunath tea stall and is located near Sukhadia Circle in the City of Lakes.
