An Indian art affair at The Oberoi
The Oberoi, in association with the Delhi Art Gallery (DAG) hosted an exhibit in the hallway at the far end of the South Mumbai hotel’s lobby, showcasing the artworks of Indian masters like M F Husain, Ghulam Rasool Santosh, Raja Ravi Varma etc.

According to one of the DAG representatives, the evening was to reach out to a greater number of potential “buyer-investors as private previews are felt to be getting restrictive”. While the “prices were available on request”, we heard that the place of pride at the exhibit was enjoyed by the Raja Ravi Varma work priced at Rs 1.5 crore.
