Amitav Ghosh’s book launch was a Godrej-studded event!

It was a Godrej-special moment at Amitav Ghosh’s book launch event in Mumbai recently. Nadir Godrej and Pheroza Godrej (related through marriage) were keen listeners at Ghosh’s discussion with Anil Dharker on climate change. Nadir also asked a question to Ghosh.

Post the session, both the Godrejs stood in queue for the book-signing. While Nadir had a long chat with Ghosh on his book, the author stood up and gave a warm hug to Pheroza. Nadir and Pheroza then ran into each other at the end of the event, evidently surprised. While Pheroza was with friends, Nadir seemed to have arrived alone. But then he had the book for company.
