New year celebrations done, the bosses are slowly returning back to their corner offices. Some are coming back from their holiday homes tucked away in the relatively quieter corners of the country, others from raucous party destinations.

Amit Burman, vice chairman of Dabur, falls in the latter category. Burman rang in the new year in Bangkok with friends and family. The group of almost 60 occupied different tables at a Japanese restaurant in a five-star hotel in the Thai capital. The dinner was followed by an after-hours party.
