Billed as the world's biggest Indian event outside the nation, the parade saw an estimated turnout of 150,000 people, both as marchers and as the audience along the route on Madison Avenue.
Arjun, who led the prestigious parade as its Grand Marshal alongside his wife Sneha Reddy, thanked the Mayor of New York City for having honoured him.
Arjun took to Instagram to share a picture with the mayor and wrote: "It was a pleasure meeting the Mayor of New York City. Very supportive gentleman. Thank You for the honour Mr Eric Adams. Thaggede Le!"
Arjun also posted a series of pictures, including one that showed the mayor and the actor performing the landmark 'Pushpa' move.
Indians present in the crowd, who were dressed in traditional outfits, cheered for the actor.
