Alia Bhatt channels retro glam energy in a pastel green saree

The actress, who recently celebrated her 33rd birthday on March 15, has been captivating fans not only with her acting chops but also with her impressive wardrobe collections. From public appearances to red carpet events, the Bollywood star never fails to dish out sartorial goals, making us actively take notes. Recently, the Gucci brand ambassador attended an event in Chennai and left fans gushing again with her elegant OOTD.

For the outing, Alia Bhatt draped herself in a mint green saree, which she picked out from the shelves of fashion label Jadon. Styled beautifully by Priyanka Kapadia, the actress weaved a vintage dream in the six yards of wonder.

The organza saree came with transparent details as it went across Alia Bhatt’s shoulders, falling dramatically to the floor, creating a pool of fabric below. A minimal piping in the same minty green hue suited the vibe. The stand-out element of the traditional ensemble was the delicate flower brocade embroidery in subtle metallic shades, offering an extra dose of allure.

Alia Bhatt walked on the monochrome path and paired her saree with a matching blouse. The deep-scooped, V-neck number was tailored to perfection, comprising sleeveless details and a cropped hem. With her saree doing all the talking, the Jigra actress resorted to minimal accessories, including a pearl-adorned choker and a pair of stone-encrusted studs, which aptly complemented her overall aesthetic.

Alia Bhatt’s minimal makeup and upcoming films

In terms of makeup, Alia Bhatt went with the little-is-more policy with her flawless base serving as a canvas for the brush strokes to glide smoothly. The actress went with some rosy blush on the high points of her cheeks, coupled with a peach-tinted lipstick. Mascara-coated wispy lashes, a dash of winged eyeliner and shimmery pink eyeshadow sealed her eye glam. For the final touch of elegance, Alia left her brunette tresses open in side-parted waves as they cascaded gorgeously in length.

Workwise, Alia Bhatt has a couple of projects lined up in her kitty. She will next be seen in YRF’s first-ever female-oriented spy-action thriller Alpha, co-starring opposite Munjya fame Sharvari Wagh.
