Alia Bhatt becomes brand ambassador of Samsung's premium Galaxy smartphones

The actress will promote new Galaxy Z Series, Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

Samsung will soon kick off a digital and outdoor campaign featuring Alia Bhatt.
MUMBAI: Samsung India has signed Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt as brand ambassador for its premium Galaxy Z Series foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

“We are happy to have partnered with Alia Bhatt for our foldable campaign in India,” said Sumit Walia, senior director, Samsung India.

“Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 are an amalgamation of style, premium looks, innovation and utility that promise a smooth smartphone experience for our young users. Alia’s immense popularity among young Gen Z and millennial consumers will help us deepen our bonds with them.”


Speaking about the association, Bhatt stated that she had done a small test run with both the phones, and felt that they “lived up to every promise” that the brand had made.

“Samsung’s new foldable phones look sleek and come in interesting colour options. I love the camera and the large cover screen, and also the fact that these foldable phones are very compact and portable,” she said.

“The campaign has shaped up really well. I really liked the script and the communication that Samsung wants to put forth. I am really excited for the campaign to break, now,” Bhatt added.

Alia Bhatt released her first look from SS Rajamouli-directorial 'RRR', short for 'Rise Roar Revolt' on her birthday.

The actress will be seen portraying the role of 'Sita' in the upcoming Telugu period action drama.

Alia Bhatt left the audience speechless in a never-seen-before avatar after the trailer of 'Ganguabi Kathiawadi', directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was released last month.

The film is based on one of the chapters of noted author S Hussain Zaidi's book, 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'.

This is Bhansali's first collaboration with Bhatt, also starring actor Ajay Devgun in a special appearance. This project will also see Bhansali Productions collaborating with Jayantilal Gada's Pen India Limited.

The film faced a minor hiccup after the director tested positive for Covid-19. Bhat also texted herself as she was shooting for the film in Mumbai with the film-maker.

The makers have announced the theatrical release date of the film on July 30 this year.

'Darlings' marks the Alia Bhatt's debut as a producer under her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions. Touted as a dark comedy, the movie will be backed by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.

Billed as a story of a quirky mother-daughter duo, the actress will also star alongside Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. She has been busy shooting for her first production venture's in-house project.

'Takht', a star-studded a period drama, was announced right before the coronavirus pandemic in February 2020. Starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles, Karan Johar had announced that 'Takht' will release on Christmas 2021.
