Alexa Swinton, Wyatt Oleff to feature in 'Wreckless'

Los Angeles, "Billions" star Alexa Swinton and actor Wyatt Oleff are set to join sports drama film "Wreckless".

The film is directed by Kayla Arend, who is making her feature directorial debut and also features David Arquette and filmmaker Steven Spielberg's son Sawyer Spielberg, among others, according to the entertainment news outlet Deadline.

The project is a father-daughter story about addiction, grief and recovery centred on Joni (Swinton), a reckless teenager who has learned to live with pain, and her father Larry (Arquette), a recovering addict who has spent years trying to outrun his own mistakes. When Joni enters the demolition derby, the father and daughter are forced to confront the past and rebuild their relationship in the most unlikely of arenas, reads the logline.


Swinton had her breakthrough with ABC's science fiction thriller series "Emergence", where she essayed the role of Piper. It released in 2019. She is also known for her roles in projects such as "Old" and "Maestro", among others.

Oleff is known for his role of Peter Quill in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" films.

The film is produced by Katrina Whalen and Gio Labadessa, with Inna Swinton and Rolfe William Swinton serving as executive producers and Ava Swinton as associate producer. PTI
