Akshay Kumar once revealed his philosophy for success
Akshay Kumar is one of the richest actors in India today. As per Forbes, Bollywood’s Khiladi’s networth is no less than Rs 2700 crore. In a chat with the Hindustan Times, the Namastey London star said he followed four major S’s to maintain work-life balance and also lead a happy life amid all the stress. Let us decode the superstar’s four simple but unparalleled secrets to living a happy, satisfying, stress-free life.

Joy

The superstar said he always tries to pursue "Sukh", or happiness. He recalled a time when his family did not have a lot of money; they lived in a small house, and 24 people lived in the house, yet they were all happy.

Peace & Giving Back

He also emphasised on the significance of “shanti” (meaning peace) and “seva” (giving back to the society by helping the marginalised). ““No matter what you do in life, do it with peace. The third S is seva. Try to serve others as much as you can. Recalling a popular phrase, he said, "Jab tak seva karoge tab tak aap zinda ho. Jis din seva karne se man hat jayega, uske baad mar jaana hi behtar hai” (You are alive till the day you serve others). The day you don’t feel like serving, it’s better to give up your life," he said.

Health

Kumar, who is known to be one of the most fit actors in Bollywood, emphasised the need to focus on your health. “Sehat. I have seen a lot of people disrespecting their health, but it’s the most important thing in life.”

A Look At Akki’s Fitness Regimen

As per an NDTV report, the superstar’s fitness regimen is not limited to weight training and machines. He also includes activities such as swimming, cycling, basketball, kickboxing, trekking, stair climbing, etc. into his fitness routine. Recent reports have drawn attention to fitness activities such as pull-ups, push-ups, squats, rope climbing and hanging exercises.

Even at the age of 58, he was reportedly able to stay in shape without routinely depending on conventional gym sessions or a regular weightlifting programme. However, the takeaway for most people is not that lifting weights is unnecessary. Resistance exercises remain essential for preserving muscle mass, building strength and supporting physical health as people grow older.
