Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Ram Setu' mints Rs 15 cr at the box-office on opening day, Diwali holiday brings relief

If reports are to be believed, the Abhishek Sharma-directorial has minted Rs 15 crore on its first day at the box-office. The movie was off to a good start, especially in the mass centres, thanks to the festivities.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share that the day one collection of 'Ram Setu' was Rs 15.25 crore on its opening day. The movie was released on Tuesday, a day after Diwali.

The trends show that the movie started with good occupancy, and the Hindi belt saw 'houseful' tags during the noon shows.
Besides Kumar, the movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in pivotal roles. It marks the Bollywood debut of Tollywood star Satyadev Kancharana.
The movie has been co-produced by Cape of Good Films along with Amazon Prime Video, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions.
'Ram Setu' clashed with Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra-led 'Thank God' on Tuesday. According to Adarsh, 'Thank God' has made Rs 8.10 crore on day one.
