Akshay Kumar shares first poster of action-adventure film 'Ram Setu', to release on Diwali 2022

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on Thursday shared the first poster of his much-awaited upcoming film 'Ram Setu', which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satyadev.

The actor also announced the release date of the film, which is arriving in cinemas this Diwali.

The film's title is the Hindi name for Adam's Bridge, a chain of limestone shoals linking the southern state of Tamil Nadu to the neighbouring island nation of Sri Lanka.


Indian mythology holds that the bridge was built by an army led by the Hindu god-king Rama.

In the film's poster shared by Kumar, the actor can be seen holding a firelight with Fernandez and Satyadev standing behind him as the three stare curiously into the distance.

'Ram Setu' will also release on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release.

The film is an action-adventure drama that tells a story rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage.

As soon as Kumar released the first poster of the film, excited fans took to Twitter to applaud it and express their excitement by saying that it's the "most awaited action film".
