Ajay Devgn's brother film-maker Anil Devgan passes away; actor says family heartbroken on his untimely demise

Due to the pandemic, the family will not have a personal prayer meet.

Actor Ajay Devgn's brother Anil passed away last night. The ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ actor took to Twitter to share the tragic news of his cousin's untimely demise. He was 51.

Posting a picture of his director-brother, the 'Singham' actor, in a tweet, said, “I lost my brother Anil Devgan last night. His untimely demise has left our family heartbroken. ADFF & I will miss his presence dearly. Pray for his soul. Due to the pandemic, we will not have a personal prayer meet.”



Anil Devgan had directed his brother and sister-in-law Kajol in the 2000 film 'Raju Chacha'. He also helmed films like 'Blackmail' and 'Haal-e-Dil', in addition to being the creative director of Ajay Devgn's 'Son of Sardaar'.
