The NSE-listed Airan Ltd has just announced excellent consolidated results for the third quarter of the financial year, the nine months ending December 31, 2021.

In this quarter, the company’s total income rose from Rs 1,957.15 lakh to Rs 2,300.28 lakh year-on-year, while net profits grew from Rs 243.12 lakh to Rs 266.45 lakh year-on-year.

Given this successful period, the board of directors, at their recent board meeting, have given an in-principle approval to venture into new business segments, such as setting up cash in transit agency, a cash replenishment agency and cash management services agency after evaluating the presentation made by executive director Abhishek Agrawal.

The setting up of the new business segments will be subject to criteria such as approval from regulatory agencies like RBI and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The board has authorised Agrawal and chief financial officer Krunal Jethva to finish the studies and other requisite formalities, after which the company will update its shareholders accordingly.
