Air Asia's Mittu Chandilya may give Wimbledon a miss

AirAsia India CEO Mittu Chandilya and his wife Inga's love for tennis is well known. The sport is work and play for the couple, who apart from playing an occasional game, also own the Champions Tennis League team, Bangalore Raptors.

One would have expected the couple at Wimbledon. But, unfortunately, Chandilya will have to give it a miss this year due to work commitments.

Currently in Northern Europe, he had plans of attending the Men's and Women's doubles semis and finals, hoping to catch his friend, Martina Hingis, in action. Apart from the friendship, there is patriotic fervour too in his support for Hingis. She plays with Sania Mirza and as Chandilya puts it, "Indian pride all the way through."
