Ahead of Google's big 2022 launch, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro release, pre-order dates leaked

Google has been making headlines recently for its upcoming new smartphones - the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. There were already several reports suggesting that Google will launch its new products after Apple's highly awaited event of the year, the unveiling of iPhone 14, tech giant's smartphone of 2022.

Now recent reports have disclosed the launch date of Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro. As per the report by FrontPageTech, right after Apple's September launch, Google will be releasing the new Pixel line-up in October.

The report further suggests that the smartphone will go on pre-order on October 6 and will be available for sale on October 13.


Google had teased the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro months ago during its annual developer conference in May. As per latest leaks, Google plans to retain its current structure for the upcoming Pixel 7 smartphones as the devices will still have a camera strip extended from the rear panel, from left to right edge, like the Pixel phones.

According to the renders making the rounds on social media online, the Pixel 7 Pro's rear camera design will blend into the body, just like Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone. Whereas at the front, the display, which will either be a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen or a 6.8-inch, flaunts the typical Android punch-hole design.

While the Pixel 7 will reportedly have a 6.2 or 6.-inch AMOLED display.
