Agadha OTT release date details: When and where to watch the Telugu supernatural thriller starring Kamakshi Bhaskarla

Telugu supernatural thriller Agadha, which arrived in theatres on August 14, is now heading to OTT after its theatrical run. Directed by filmmaker MS Raju and led by Kamakshi Bhaskarla, the film combines suspense, mystery, spiritual elements and supernatural forces. The movie received a mixed response in theatres and will now get another chance to reach viewers through digital streaming.

Agadha OTT release date and platform

As per 123 Telugu, Agadha will start streaming on ZEE5 from September 25, 2026. The digital premiere gives viewers who missed the theatrical release an opportunity to watch the Telugu thriller from home.

The film had generated expectations around its supernatural premise before its theatrical release, though it did not make the expected impact at the box office. Its OTT release could bring the story to a wider audience, particularly viewers interested in horror, mystery and spiritual thrillers.

What is Agadha about?

The story follows Mahadevi, played by Kamakshi Bhaskarla, a woman with spiritual abilities who becomes involved in a series of disturbing events. Her life takes an unexpected turn after unexplained deaths and the mysterious suicide of her cousin raise questions that she cannot ignore.

As Mahadevi tries to understand what is happening around her, the investigation takes her towards a forbidden forest cave. It is there that she comes across a supernatural presence called Agadha. From this point, the mystery becomes connected with faith, fear and forces that are difficult to explain.

The film also explores a larger conflict between divine and evil forces. In the story, Agadha is presented as a powerful supernatural force working against the divine, adding another layer to Mahadevi's search for answers.

The rural setting and the family-related mystery form an important part of the narrative. The story gradually brings in unexplained deaths, occult forces and a threat that appears to be connected to Mahadevi's family.

Agadha cast and box office

Kamakshi Bhaskarla plays the central character of Mahadevi. Shravan Reddy and Ulka Gupta also have important roles in the film. The supporting cast includes Jovika Vijayakumar, Shiju, Roshan Basheer, Shreya Rani Reddy, Bhanu Chander, Vanitha Vijayakumar and Viva Raghava, among others.

MS Raju has directed the film. He began his career as a producer before moving into direction. Kasi Visalakshi Balusu has produced Agadha under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner.

Rakesh Venkatapuram composed the film's music and songs, while Nani Chamidisetty handled cinematography. Junaid Siddiqui worked on the editing.

Agadha had a modest theatrical run. According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, the film recorded a total gross collection of more than Rs 1.44 crore, while its India net collection stood at around Rs 1.30 crore.
