In her most recent YouTube vlog, filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan paid a visit to the ocean-facing apartment of actor and comedian Javed Jaffrey, located in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area. Accompanied by her long-time cook and video companion, Dilip, Farah stepped into the sophisticated residence and was immediately blown away by its charm.

Lightheartedly reacting to the elegant surroundings, she quipped about how she might have considered marrying Javed if she had known he owned such a lovely home. The humorous exchange sparked laughter between the two and set the tone for a fun and engaging vlog episode.

The apartment is a refined mix of calm and comfort. Its interiors are done in soft, neutral shades of beige that enhance the sense of space and tranquility. The living room boasts a plush sage-green sofa, complemented by indoor greenery and stylish white pendant lights. A chic dining setup with a Spanish-inspired table brings a European flair to the décor, making the home feel both modern and inviting.


As Farah explored further, her admiration for the space continued to grow. Each bedroom was thoughtfully arranged with roomy wardrobes, snug beds, and intimate details that lent the rooms a welcoming, lived-in feeling. One particular wall drew Farah’s attention—it displayed a curated collection of keepsakes from Javed’s global travels, giving a glimpse into his personality and passions. She expressed her delight upon seeing the unique display. During her visit, she also met Jaaved’s wife, with whom she shared a warm hug. Javed lightheartedly commented on his wife’s timeless beauty, adding another layer of laughter to the tour.

Later in the video, Farah shared a surprising tidbit about her own house—the one she regularly uses for filming her content. She revealed that Javed had actually viewed that very property just a day before she did. As Javed recalled, real estate developer Vikas Oberoi had told him someone else was visiting the place to assess its Vastu compliance, though the identity wasn’t disclosed at the time. If they hadn’t approved, Javed might have ended up buying it. Farah added that she agreed to take the house shortly afterward, smiling as she noted that even actor Shahid Kapoor had visited the same property earlier. She concluded by praising how beautiful the space turned out to be.

Farah and Javed share a long-standing friendship that stretches back nearly 30 years. Their bond dates to their early careers, including a dance number they performed a dance number together in the 1987 film Saat Saal Baad. The song was choreographed by Jaffrey.
