After family
business, a Harvard lesson for Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha?
Mukesh Ambani’s daughter is rumoured to have received admissions to both Harvard and Stanford.

In 2015, Mukesh Ambani’s children — Isha and Akash — were centrestage at a ceremony celebrating Reliance Group’s foray into telecom. The two siblings have been closely involved with the company since its inception. But it appears that Isha might be taking a break from the family business to pursue her academic ambitions.

Isha has received admissions to the MBA programs at both Harvard and Stanford and is expected to join her university of choice this fall. An email sent to Reliance seeking a comment on the subject was not answered.

If Isha picks Harvard, she’d be following in the footsteps of other corporate progeny. She will have as her seniors Aarti Kaji (daughter of Chanda Kochhar, ICICI Bank’s MD & CEO) and husband, Aditya, Jay Kotak (son of Uday Kotak, executive vice chairman, Kotak Mahindra Bank) and Adwaita Nayar (daughter of Sanjay Nayar, KKR India’s CEO). The quartet started their programme last year.

Isha completed her undergraduate studies from Yale University in 2014, focusing on psychology and South Asian studies. Post which, she did a stint with consultancy firm McKinsey.
