According to Times of India, during the launch, Ravi unveiled An Ordinary Man, his first film as a director, featuring Yogi Babu in the lead role. Alongside this, teasers of two more projects were introduced—Bro Code, directed by Karthik Yogi, and Kaakhi Squad. The evening highlighted Ravi’s dual move into film production and direction, marking a significant expansion of his career after two decades as an actor.
Production Plans and Future Projects
Ravi Mohan revealed that his studio intends to produce around ten films over the next three years. He emphasised that the banner would also support independent artists and collaborate with new filmmakers. According to media statements, he confirmed that several fiction and non-fiction projects for OTT platforms are already in development, targeted for release between 2026 and 2027.He added that Ravi Mohan Studios would remain committed to content-driven cinema, noting that projects with honest storytelling will always find a place under his banner. The actor, who was last seen in Kadhalikka Neramillai, also has upcoming roles in Karathey Babu and Parasakthi.
Kenisha Francis’ Appearance
While the focus of the evening was Ravi’s directorial debut, much of the spotlight shifted to his appearance with singer Kenisha Francis, with whom he has been linked in recent months. The two were seen dressed in matching white outfits and remained together throughout the event, fueling further speculation about their relationship.The public sighting comes after the earlier divorce proceedings between Ravi and his wife, Aarti Ravi. Earlier this year, Aarti suggested that a “third person” had contributed to the breakdown of their marriage, though she refrained from naming anyone directly. Kenisha has since faced a wave of online harassment, which she addressed in a series of earlier Instagram posts, stating that she would not be silenced and was ready to face legal scrutiny if accused.
Despite the personal controversy, Ravi Mohan’s family showed strong support at the launch, with his mother Varalakshmi Mohan and brother Mohan Raja in attendance. Industry colleagues also extended their best wishes, acknowledging the actor’s ambitious move into direction and production.
