HyunA-DAWN were one of the most beloved couples in Kpop.
HyunA and DAWN, one of the most beloved couples in K-pop, have parted ways after more than six years of dating. The ‘Lip & Hip’ hitmaker however clarified that it was an amicable separation and the pair have decided to remain friends and well-wishers. She took to Instagram on November 30, to announce her break-up with DAWN. She revealed that both of them decided to call-off their engagement. She wrote, “We broke up. We decided to remain as good friends and colleagues. Thank you always for your support and for looking over us kindly." Many HyunA-DAWN fans are understandably heartbroken at the news. Right after the ‘I’m Not Cool’ singer broke the news, a fan commented, “Please tell me this is a joke like they literally posted pics together a week ago.” “I’m absolutely shocked,” wrote another. "I don't believe in love anymore guys," wrote another.
On February 2021, DAWN announced their engagement. He shared a video, which featured the couple sporting engagement rings with the caption, “Marry me.” Reposting the video, HyunA had written, “Of course, it’s a yes.” The posts are no longer available on their Instagram accounts.
HyunA and DAWN were one of the most popular couples in K-pop. They were members of the now-defunct K-pop group Triple H. They were in a relationship since 2016. However they made their relationship public only in 2018. The duo was often known for their OTT (over-the-top) displays of affection. They hit headlines when they passionately kissed on stage during the performance of their song, 'Ping Pong' at the Seoul Music Awards (SMA) 2022.
Earlier this year, the pair decided to part ways with their agency P Nation. Before P Nation, the couple was associated with another agency Cube Entertainment, which terminated their contracts and kicked them out unceremoniously, after the duo made their relationship public.
