MS Dhoni channels Ranbir Kapoor from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal movie and the internet cannot keep calm.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker behind the blockbuster Animal, known for its intense action and raw storytelling, has now brought a playful twist to his signature style. In a new advertisement for an electric bike, he directs cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a humorous tribute to his own film. The ad cleverly parodies Animal, with Dhoni channelling Ranbir Kapoor’s energy and swag in a series of iconic recreations.

The video opens with Dhoni stepping out of a sleek black car, instructing his crew to grab guns—a direct nod to Kapoor’s gangster scene. He later parks his bike in a strikingly familiar style, mirroring the film’s visuals. At one point, Dhoni even delivers Kapoor’s famous dialogue, "Sunai de raha hai mujhe, behra nahi hoon main," with effortless cool. As the cricketer playfully questions if the ad is getting too over the top since it was just an electric bike advertisement. But Vanga teases, "Wait and see what's coming next." The grand finale features Dhoni recreating Animal's dramatic black-and-white climax, sealing the ad as a witty and stylish homage to the film.

How did the internet react to the advertisement?

Fans are raving about the new ad featuring Dhoni and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, calling it an absolute banger. Many were especially impressed by the final moments, describing them as next-level. Some even believe the closing template will dominate social media in the coming days, with Dhoni once again dropping a major hit just before the IPL. One praised Thala and commented that he could do anything. One wondered when will the iconic cricket star be signed for a movie role. A comment read, "An alternative career is waiting for Dhoni after his retirement from IPL. What an acting and what a Marketing." One added, "Thala for a reason."
