NEW DELHI: Actor Anupam Kher, on Monday, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and took to Twitter to share pictures with him.

The actor, who is currently promoting his upcoming film 'One Day: Justice Delivered', said it was a privilege to meet the PM and his vision for India was 'greatly reassuring'.

He went on to call Modi's 'inspirational words' a 'great source of energy' for him.


"Dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. It was an honour & a privilege to meet you. Your vision for India is greatly reassuring & heartwarming. Your inspirational words will always be a great source of energy for me. May you continue to take our country to greater heights," the 64-year-old wrote on his Twitter handle.

The actor - who was in Delhi for a performance of his plays 'Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai' and 'Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha' - had, on Saturday, met former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at his residence.

Sharing details of his meeting, the actor had tweeted, "Just met Arun Jaitley ji at his residence! It is always a pleasure and a learning experience to spend time with him. His vast knowledge on any subject is awe inspiring. Was glad to see him healthy and happy. Also got to eat the most delicious bread samosa."

Kher's wife and actor turned politician Kirron Kher won the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat for a second term against Congress heavyweight Pawan Kumar Bansal with a margin of over 34,000 votes.
