When he's not strategising over increasing the company's sales figures, Adobe South Asia MD Umang Bedi likes to tinker around with the product he's in charge of promoting. A feature that's particularly taken Bedi's fancy is the 2D character animator. The feature allows users to record facial movements and voice through webcam and applies the movements onto a caricature or configured character in real time.

Not one to shy away from laughing at himself, Bedi has been using the feature to make his own caricature come alive.

"I am still dabbling with it so I haven't created a character," he says. "But I made a little spoof by making a caricature of myself. I uploaded my photo and morphed it around and tried recording my voice with facial expressions so that it looks as real as it can. It's pretty awesome."
Considering Bedi gave up writing code a decade ago and switched over to the business side, the feature made Bedi feel good as he could create something without anyone having to teach him how to use it.
