Rashmika Mandanna along with husband, Vijay Deverakonda, recently went to visit Tamil Nadu's chief minister, Thalapathy Vijay. After the visit, the favourite couple of the industry shared a heartfelt message. The actress reflected on how her admiration for Vijay has evolved over the years, from being a longtime fan to working with him and now appreciating his journey in politics. Sharing glimpses of their meeting on social media, Rashmika called his journey incredible and extended her love and best wishes to the actor-turned-politician.

Rashmika Mandanna dropped a few photos from her meeting with Thalapathy Vijay and express her admiration for the Chief Minister. Recalling how she had followed him as a fan for years before getting the opportunity to work with him, she highlighted how her perspective had evolved. In her post, Rashmika said she had been fangirling over Vijay for longer than she could remember. She later got the opportunity to work with him and now admires him for the Chief Minister he has become. Calling his journey incredible, the actress concluded her message with love and best wishes for him.

Vijay Deverakonda shares pictures from the meeting

Vijay Deverakonda also gave fans a glimpse of the meeting through a series of photographs shared on Instagram. The Arjun Reddy actor posted pictures featuring himself, Rashmika and Thalapathy Vijay.


In the first photograph, the trio posed together for a cheerful picture. Another image captured them engrossed in a conversation, while the final photograph showed Vijay Deverakonda hugging the Chief Minister as Rashmika smiled beside them.

The Arjun Reddy actor shared his appreciation for the meeting and shared that despite having a long day, the Chief Minister welcomed them warmly and shared personal insights about life, work and the world. Vijay Deverakonda also expressed his affection and respect for him, adding that the meeting had already made Vijay a favourite. He ended his message by expressing hope of meeting him again.

Earlier on Tuesday, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple to offer prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy. The couple attended the early-morning Suprabhata Seva as they await the release of their upcoming film, Ranabaali. Vijay wore an all-white traditional outfit, while Rashmika opted for a yellow saree with a magenta blouse. The actors also posed for photographs and waved to fans who had gathered at the shrine for a glimpse of them.
