Adhuna Akhtar shares tips to master Farhan Akhtar's on-screen hair styles
The hair stylist gives a sneak peek into the inspiration behind some of her husband's iconic looks and how you can sport a similar hairdo.

Wazir:
Inspiration: Farhan Akhtar's look in Wazir was taken from ATS officers' clean and sharp haircuts. To achieve the look of his character in Wazir as Danish Ali, one needs to get a short, fade haircut on the sides and back. The parting can be as per your personal preference. We suggest a side one though.
Decoding: Style this look by using a small dollop of light weight gel on towel dried hair which is damp and take the desired parting with a clean section. Pro tip is to apply the product first on the top and comb it flat to a sleek side parting. Then diffuse dry the hair with a professional hairdryer to give it its shape. Using your fingers, gently push the top up to give more height. Finish the look with a spotlight hair polish for that glossy clean effect and there you have it!
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara:
Inspiration: Farhan's character in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was that of a carefree, creative writer. So the inspiration for his look was based on that. It didn't necessarily need to be conventional but was more dishevelled and easy working with the natural texture of Farhan's hair.
Decoding: To maintain the texture for this look, apply BBLUNT's Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave In Cream or a HD Curl Defining Leave In Cream to wet hair. Scrunch the tips of your hair with a gel and allow to dry naturally. Once hair is dry, scrunch using your fingers to do away with the wet look effect.
Rock On!:
Inspiration: This one's a No brainer! A Rock band was the inspiration for Farhan's look in Rock On!.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag:
Decoding: Use the right shampoo and conditioner, depending on your hair type. A good Leave-in Conditioner like a Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave in Cream works best for long hair.
