After Hanu-ManThe Telugu film industry is set to welcome a new superhero to its universe, and this time, it’s none other than Kalyan Dasari, son of renowned producer DVV Danayya. The makers of Adhira, an ambitious new action-fantasy film, recently unveiled its first look poster. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, the film is the latest addition to the fast-growing Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), known for blending Indian mythology and modern-day superhero elements.

Set against a dramatic backdrop of fire, volcanoes, and lightning, the visuals show Kalyan Dasari in a sleek armoured superhero suit. Opposite him stands SJ Suryah, dressed in black with a horned headgear, giving fans a glimpse of his villainous role. The intensity of both characters has added to the growing excitement around the film.

Fans went into a frenzy after seeing the poster and showered it with immense love. Following the release of the first look, they are eagerly waiting to see what the film has to offer and are counting down the days.

Adhira marks Kalyan Dasari’s debut in a lead role, and stepping into the superhero genre makes it even more special. While the film was initially announced in 2022 with Prasanth Varma at the helm, it is now being directed by Sharan Koppisetty, with Varma continuing as the creative force behind the universe. Known for his work in Awe, Zombie Reddy, and the successful Hanu-Man, Prasanth Varma is currently shaping one of India’s first native superhero cinematic universes.

SJ Suryah’s presence as the antagonist adds further weight to the film. The actor, known for his powerful screen presence and versatility, is expected to bring a unique edge to his character. His look in the poster has already earned praise from fans on social media.
