Adar Poonawalla joins Tendulkar, Dhoni, Big B as Swachh Bharat ambassador

Billionaire industrialist Adar Poonawalla certainly knows how to impress. After having set up a Rs 100 crore clean city initiative in Pune last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently appointed Poonawalla as an ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Turns out, the Prime Minister was impressed with the efforts and ideas put in for the initiative after visiting the Serum Institute of India, of which Poonawalla is the CEO. He finds himself in the company of other celebrity ambassadors of Modi’s pet project like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Amitabh Bachchan.
