Actress' unusual divorce story: She immediately went out for drinks with ex-husband

Sai Tamhankar, an acclaimed Indian film and television actress, is well-known for her contributions to Marathi cinema and her roles in Hindi films. Sai married Amey Gosavi in 2013, but the couple separated within two years. Despite their split, they have maintained a friendly relationship and stayed in touch. In a recent interview with The Male Feminist, Sai shared insights about their divorce, mentioning how they would still hang out and enjoy drinks together afterwards. She also reflected on how, even though she never officially changed her name, she was still addressed as Sai Tamhankar Gosavi during the divorce process, as legal proceedings continued to use her married name.



Sai went on to share that after finalizing their divorce, they decided to relax and went out for a couple of drinks. During their time together, they reflected on their relationship, shared emotional moments, exchanged heartfelt conversations, and offered each other life advice. As the evening progressed, some of their close friends called to check in on them. When they mentioned where they were, their friends began joining in, and soon they were surrounded by a group of 9-10 people. The night turned into an unexpected gathering filled with drinks, laughter, and good times.
