Actress Pankhuri Awashty's style mantra: A short dress for a party, pyjamas for a sleepover

In conversation with actress Pankhuri Awashty about a few of her favourite things.

What book character do you resemble?

Elizabeth Bennet from 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. She’s high on love and at the same time very sensible and strong headed.

What turns you on?

Intelligence and good humour.

On a night out, you’d wear...

If it’s a party then I would wear a short dress. If I’m having a sleep-over with my friends, then it’s pyjamas for me.

Football or cricket?

Cricket.

What was your first job?

My first job was as a voice over artist and content writer. I was still in college and had the job for six months.

A movie you can watch over and over again…

There are quite a few. 'Pretty Woman' and 'Pride and Prejudice' are some of them. I am a big Shah Rukh Khan fan so I love his movies like 'Swades' and 'Pardes'.

Working out or lying in?

Lying in.

Your most prized possession?

All the pictures that I have collected over the years. I have pictures from my childhood days, college days and when I first started shooting. I don’t want to lose these pictures ever.

What’s your favourite city in the world?

I love New York. Las Vegas and London are next.

What’s on your bucket list?

Earn well, save a lot and travel the whole world.

Your guilty pleasure...

When I shop, I tend to overspend. And when I want to work out I never end up doing it.

What flavour would you be?

A mix of mango and raspberry.
