The actress spoke about the experience during a fun conversation on IMDb, where she and Siddhant discussed dating and memorable moments from their lives. When asked about her best first date, Mrunal shared an anecdote that left her co-star pleasantly surprised.

Mrunal explained that dating can be difficult for actors because they are constantly followed by paparazzi. She said meeting someone in public places often becomes awkward, as photographers can spot them easily and rumours may start circulating. Because of this, she usually prefers to keep her personal life private.


Recalling her favourite date, the actress said someone she was seeing once came up with a thoughtful idea to avoid unwanted attention. Instead of meeting outside, he planned the entire date in the same building where she lives. According to Mrunal, the person simply called her and asked her to come upstairs.

“He told me to climb two or three floors up,” she said while describing the moment. When she reached there, she was surprised to find that a romantic dinner had already been arranged. The small space had been turned into a candlelight setup, making it feel like a proper date despite being inside the building.

Mrunal said the gesture completely caught her off guard and she felt overwhelmed by the effort that had gone into planning it. For her, the simplicity and thoughtfulness behind the surprise made the moment even more special.

She also revealed a fun detail about the evening. Mrunal said she had brought food from home for the dinner. According to her, the combination of a cosy candlelight setting and homemade dishes made the date feel more personal and memorable.
