According to PTI reports, Ayesha claimed that the confrontation escalated when a large group of nearly 150 people surrounded Farhan and their son. She alleged that the crowd hurled abuses at them, targeting them for being from Maharashtra and driving a big luxury car. She also stated that the situation became so threatening that Farhan called the police for help, but instead of receiving protection, he ended up being booked in the case.

The incident took place late Monday night, and the Goa police confirmed they received a call about a fight at a supermarket at 11:12 pm. When officers arrived, they found that two groups had engaged in a scuffle over what they described as a "petty matter." During the altercation, Farhan reportedly mentioned that he was carrying a licensed firearm. In response, the police filed a case against multiple individuals, including Abu Farhan Azmi, Zeon Fernandes, Joseph Fernandes, and others under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Ayesha expressed her frustration over the handling of the case, claiming that the police also faced aggression from the mob but still registered a complaint against her husband. She took to Instagram to share her side of the story, calling the night "a horror" for her family in a different Instagram story.
