Actress Ambika blasts Trisha on appearance with Vijay at Ajith Kumar’s Silverstone race: ‘If you value the friendship, you should…’

Actress Trisha Krishnan raised quite a few eyebrows when she appeared at the Le Mans race at Silverstone, England, with her Leo co-star and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. Veteran actress Ambika shared her perspective on the viral videos of the two stars attending the event. She said that if she were in her position, she would avoid doing anything that could affect her friend’s reputation. Trisha and Vijay, a sought-after on-screen pair and real-life friends, have often been linked romantically, though neither has addressed the rumours of their relationship or issued a clarification.

In a chat with RedPix, Amibika said, "If I were in that position, and I knew something I did could bring criticism or give my friend a bad name, I would avoid it. That is my opinion,” she said.

She also cautioned that discretion should be exercised in such situations, as fans may eventually grow tired of defending the relationship. “They may say, fine, you say that you are just friends. But do we have to keep fighting and defending you every single time?’ So, if we value that friendship, we should also be a little careful about how we conduct ourselves,” she said.


The renewed speculation followed the latest public outing of Trisha and Vijay together. On Saturday, actor Ajith Kumar took part in the Le Mans race at Silverstone in England alongside his racing team, with both Trisha and Vijay attending the event as spectators.

Video clips captured at the venue showed the two actors sitting beside each other in the stands while following the race. At one point, Trisha appeared to lean forward for a clearer look at the action unfolding on the circuit. Vijay opted for a relaxed ensemble featuring jeans, a black T-shirt and a brown jacket. Trisha, meanwhile, sported a maroon faux-leather bomber jacket over a white V-neck T-shirt, teamed with light-blue straight-fit jeans.

The visuals quickly spread across social media platforms, once again drawing attention to the long-running public interest surrounding Trisha and Vijay’s friendship. Their equation has periodically become a topic of discussion among fans over the past 20 years.

Vijay and Trisha gained an audience for their sizzling chemistry in the 2004 sports action drama Ghilli. They have appeared in several hit films such as Thirupachi, Kuruvi, Leo, and Greatest Of All Time.

Trisha was among the guests present at Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony as the Tamil Nadu chief minister.
