Actress Abhilasha Patil, who starred in 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' & 'Chhichhore', passes away due to Covid complications
Actor-director Shashank Udapurkar, who worked with her in the Marathi film 'Prawaas', confirmed the news.

Patil breathed her last on Wednesday. She is survived by her husband and a son. Actor-director Shashank Udapurkar, who had worked with Abhilasha in the Marathi flick 'Prawaas', confirmed the news to ETimes.
"Abhilasha was a very natural actress. She was very enthusiastic and passionate when it comes to acting. She comes from a non-filmy background with no godfather in the industry. I think she was an inspiration for all those actors who still struggling in the industry for films," Udapurkar said.

Patil is among the few actors who the film industry has lost to the coronavirus crisis. So far, Bollywood actors such as Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Kartik Aaryan, Sonu Sood, Vicky Kaushal and more have contracted the virus.
