Tamannaah Bhatia recently completed 20 years in the film industry. She made her debut with the Tamil film Kedi in 2006. Over the years, she has built a strong career across Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema, carving a niche for herself with consistent performances. Now, apart from acting, she has also stepped into entrepreneurship with her own jewellery line. Recently, the actress opened up about how she manages and invests her earnings.

How Tamannaah Bhatia invests her money?

While many see stardom as glamorous and financially rewarding, Tamannaah believes the reality can be very different. Speaking to CNBC TV18, she opened up about the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry and why financial planning is crucial for actors.

Looking back at the early phase of her career, Tamannaah shared that her father played a major role in managing her income. She explained that when she started working at a young age, her father handled her finances and ensured that her earnings were invested wisely. Even today, she said, he continues to guide and support her in financial matters.

The actress credited her father’s foresight for helping her think long-term. She revealed that she maintains a well-balanced investment portfolio that includes real estate, jewellery and other financial instruments.

According to her, "I have a really good balance between real estate, jewellery and a lot of other investments that makes it a very balanced portfolio. I have to thank my father for having that foresight and helping me constantly invest in (different) ways,”

Tamannaah also spoke candidly about how easy it is for actors to mismanage money. She pointed out that while many actors may earn large sums consistently, that does not automatically guarantee financial security. If they fail to save at the right time or do not find ways to grow their wealth, they may eventually realise that very little remains. In her view, careful planning and disciplined investing are essential in an industry where income can fluctuate.

Her comments talk about an important aspect of show business that often goes unnoticed. The film industry may offer fame and fortune, but it is also highly volatile. Projects can be delayed, trends can change and opportunities can slow down unexpectedly.

Beyond finances, Tamannaah continues to stay busy professionally. She is currently filming the upcoming mythological movie Vvan: Force of the Forest, where she stars alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
