Actor-director Neeraj Vora passes away at 54, was in a coma for a year
Vora was best known for his films 'Phir Hera Pheri' and 'Khiladi 420'.

Vora starred in 'Mann', 'Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega', 'Virasat', and 'Rangeela' among others. A man of many talents, he also wrote for many films including 'Rangeela', 'Akele Hum Akele Tum', 'Josh', 'Badshah', 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke', and 'Awara Paagal Deewana'.
According to reports, Vora was in a coma since the past 13 months after having suffered a stroke in 2016. Reportedly earlier this year, a room in filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala's home was converted into a fully functional ICU for the director.
A statement from the family said, "He will be taken to Mr Firoz Nadiadwala's house BARKAT, from where he will be taken to the Santacruz Electric Crematorium at 3 pm."
Actor Paresh Rawal who often starred in Vora's movies, took to Twitter to share the news, "Neeraj Vora - The writer n director of 'Phir Hera Pheri' n many hit films is no more ...Aum Shanti."
