Nitin reportedly committed suicide. His death was met with disbelief and sorrow by his close friends, colleagues, and fans. The actor’s co-stars from Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Sudeep Sahir and Vibhuti Thakur, expressed their grief. Sudeep paid tribute on social media, sharing a heartfelt message on his Instagram story. Vibhuti Thakur also mourned his passing, sharing an emotional message alongside a picture with Nitin, saying, “Rest in peace, my dear. I’m really shocked and sad...wish you had the strength to face all the troubles…wish you were mentally strong like your body.”
In an interview with Times of India, Nitin’s close friend, Kuldeep, revealed that the news of his death came as an absolute shock to those close to him. Kuldeep shared that Nitin’s father and sister informed him of the tragedy, explaining that Nitin had taken his own life. Reflecting on their recent plans, Kuldeep mentioned that Nitin had been planning to visit Delhi next month, and they had discussed a trip to the Khatu Shyam Ji temple together.

Kuldeep expressed the deep void left by Nitin's passing, reminiscing about the many memories they shared. Nitin was the friend who would go out of his way to ensure everyone felt comfortable and happy, even taking on the responsibility of driving for their group trips. “He was the one who brought life to our outings,” Kuldeep added, struggling to comprehend the sudden loss. Nitin’s father, who had rushed to Mumbai, was planning to bring his son’s body back to Delhi.

Nitin Chauhaan’s death has cast a dark shadow over his family, friends, and fans. Remembered as a warm and resilient individual, his passing serves as a tragic reminder of the silent struggles that often go unnoticed. Nitin is survived by his parents and sister, who, like his friends and fans, are grappling with the reality of his loss.
