Abundant sporty breaks for employees at the Puma India headquarters in Bengaluru!
For a company dedicated to all things sports, Puma India emphasises that its employees take play breaks between work.

Even before it underwent renovation, the Puma India headquarters in Bengaluru had an out-of-the ordinary office space -one with its own slide. Now, the four-storied space looks to shake things up. "Like in the past, all the floors don't stop people from playing football and cricket. So people can play and those working can do so at their own risk," says Puma India MD Abhishek Ganguly. Here's what its employees had to say about their favourite corners:

Running high: "The best feature are the funky meeting rooms, like the one called 9.58 after the world record timing of Usain Bolt. I also like the bright open areas like the cafeteria, play area and the coffee lounge where people gather informally.” — Mani"ha J Agarwal, head HR, administrator

Storied dedication: "I like Highbury, the container room inspired by the old Arsenal stadium, the most, because of its innovative use of a dead space." — Vidhya Srinivasan, chief financial officer

Airy escape: "We continue to have our open air cafeteria. It is one of the few places that people can go to when they want to get a breath of fresh air," says Ganguly

Team blueprints: "In areas like the one outside the auditorium, people can still play indoor sports like pool, TT, foosball," Ganguly explains

Disrupting the force: "My favourite space is the disruption floor, for informal meetings. People don’t work on laptops here, but they do some thinking, intended to create innovative disruption in the way we work. It will be important in times to come, from a business perspective," says Ganguly

Football mania: "My favourite space is the auditorium. The football field-like flooring, the large screen and the audio quality gives it an in-stadium feeling. From stadium-like seating to the vibrant energy with beer flowing, it transports you to a real ground." — Sanjay Roy, executive director, sales
