Abhishek Bachchan 'all patched-up and casted' after accident on film set, resumes work

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who recently suffered a "freak accident" on the sets of his upcoming film in Chennai, took to Instagram to share a health update.

The 45-year-old fractured his right hand and had to undergo surgery to "fix it."

Bachchan, who had to fly back to Mumbai for the surgery, is already back in Chennai ready to resume work.


He also quoted his father Amitabh Bachchan's famous dialogue "Mard ko dard nahin hota!" in the caption.

"As they say... The show must go on! And as my father said.... Mard ko dard nahin hota! Ok, ok, ok it hurt a little," the 'Guru' actor wrote on social media as he shared a picture of himself with his hand in a cast.

On the professional front, the actor has crime-thriller 'Bob Biswas' and 'Dasvi' lined up.
