Aamir Khan's next production announced! Rajkumar Santoshi directorial 'Lahore, 1947' set to star Sunny Deol as lead

Mumbai, Aamir Khan on Tuesday announced his next production venture 'Lahore, 1947', starring Sunny Deol and to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The superstar confirmed the project in a statement posted on his banner Aamir Khan Productions' (AKP) official page on microblogging site X.

Khan said he and his team at AKP are looking forward to collaborate with Deol and Santoshi.

"I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled 'Lahore, 1947'.


"We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny, and one of my favourite directors Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching," the statement read.

The project will mark maiden collaboration between the two actors, who have previously worked with Santoshi on separate projects.

While Deol has starred in Santoshi's blockbuster hits such as 'Ghayal', 'Ghatak', 'Damini', Khan has worked with the filmmaker in cult comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna'.
