Bollywood icon Aamir Khan was seen experiencing a flood of emotions during the wedding festivities of his daughter Ira Khan to fitness expert Nupur Shikhare. Aamir Khan was visibly moved, shedding tears of joy during the ceremony, as captured in viral pictures and videos. The Udaipur ceremony, held on January 10, followed Christian traditions, officiated by Ira's cousin, Zayn Marie Khan. Earlier, the couple formalized their union in a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

The intimate event included notable guests like Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal and badminton player Jwala Gutta. A grand reception is planned at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on January 13, expecting Bollywood luminaries like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's engagement happened in September 2022, following their meeting during the COVID-19 lockdown, when Nupur trained Aamir Khan, and Ira resided with her father. The couple's journey is documented through shared images, including glimpses of their dance performances.

Sharing a photo with Aamir Khan, badminton player Jwala Gutta in an Instagram post, said: "So much love was felt in Udaipur for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare wedding celebrations.. We were lucky to have witnessed it first hand. Congratulations to the lovely couple."

In a recent incident, actors Aamir Khan and Jwala Gutta's husband Vishnu Vishal were rescued by boat in Chennai during cyclone Michaung. Aamir Khan has reportedly relocated to Chennai to be with his mother during her medical treatment.

When Aamir Khan danced at the wedding ceremony

Actor Aamir Khan was spotted dancing to a song from his movie PK during the wedding celebrations of his daughter Ira Khan at Udaipur's Taj Lake Palace. Joining him in the dance was his ex-wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao. The duo grooved to the beats, adding to the festive atmosphere. Ira is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta.

Aamir Khan's singing video

Several videos are going viral from Ira and Nupur's wedding. In one of the videos, Aamir Khan dedicated a special song to Ira and he was joined on stage by his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad as the trio sang various songs, but one beautiful rendition of 'Phoolon Ka Taron Kaa' caught the attention.
