Actor Aamir Khan recently spent time with his girlfriend Gauri Spratt, his son Junaid Khan, Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, and Dhawan’s rumoured girlfriend Sophie Shine. A photo capturing the evening was shared by Sophie on her Instagram story with the caption, “Beautiful evening,” accompanied by a white heart emoji. The image featured the group posing together and smiling brightly for the camera.

Sophie stood out in a chic black outfit, complete with a handbag and beige sandals. Shikhar Dhawan was seen wearing a deep pink T-shirt paired with white trousers. Aamir Khan opted for his usual understated style in a grey kurta and blue jeans, while Gauri Spratt wore a denim kurta top with black pants. Junaid Khan went casual with a black T-shirt and beige trousers.

Just days before the outing, Aamir and Gauri were seen attending the second Macau International Comedy Festival in China. It marked their first public appearance together. Aamir walked into the event hand-in-hand with Gauri. He wore a traditional black kurta-pyjama with an embroidered shawl, and Gauri appeared in a light blue floral saree. The couple also posed for photos with Chinese actors Shen Teng and Ma Li.

Aamir Khan Opens Up About His Relationship

During a press interaction on his 60th birthday, Aamir Khan publicly introduced Gauri to the media. He shared that they had met 25 years ago, lost contact, and reconnected about two years ago. They have been in a relationship for 18 months. Gauri, who is from Bengaluru and has a six-year-old son, expressed her thoughts on choosing a partner, saying, “I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring.” Aamir responded playfully, “And after all that, you found me?”

The actor also spoke about the peaceful bond they share. “I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was,” he said. Aamir mentioned that he had prepared Gauri for the attention that comes with being in the public eye, noting she is not used to it. “We are hoping that you guys will be kind,” he added.

According to Aamir, Gauri has already met his family, including his children. He revealed that his loved ones are very supportive of the relationship. Gauri and Aamir are currently living together, along with her son. Aamir has three children from his previous marriages. With Reena Dutta, he has daughter Ira Khan and son Junaid Khan. From his second marriage to filmmaker Kiran Rao, he shares son Azad Rao Khan. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in July 2021.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan is preparing for his return to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par. The film is directed by RS Prasanna and stars Genelia D’Souza and Darsheel Safary. Positioned as a spiritual successor to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, the new film is expected to release on June 20. Reports suggest that the trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par might be attached to Raid 2 in theatres. Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which failed to meet box office expectations.
